The great sea, this life, creates and is creating us, and we are moved, also, “like the weed on a river-stone.” Please take this rendering deep into your hearts, my friends. We are entering the season of darkness, that richest of all places. May our hearts be open in these days, these tumultuous times.
The great sea stirs me.
The great sea sets me adrift,
it sways me like the weed
on a river-stone.
The sky’s height stirs me.
The strong wind blows through my mind.
It carries me with it,
and moves my inner parts with joy.

One of the few times in life that I do not have words – so wordy am I – is when I am looking at the sea. Bonnie
